The Tony Ward Couture Fall Winter 2025/26 Fashion Show

      2025-07-07

      A Show Charged with Energy
There’s always this indescribable thrill and that beautiful chaos before a Couture show begins…. but this time it was different, the energy felt sharper.

On Monday, July 7th, at 3pm Paris time, the Hôtel Pozzo di Borgo in Paris transformed into a theatrical stage of a modern masquerade runway, setting the scene for one of the most striking catwalk moments of Paris Haute Couture Week.

      Backstage: The Art of Transformation
Backstage, the mood was electric. Again, it was different this time. Models moved between final fittings and makeup touch-ups, their looks completed with sculptural steel masks. But these weren’t ordinary accessories.

The masks became the collection’s statement, symbols of duality and power. They didn’t hide faces; instead, they framed them, turning each model into a living, walking sculpture.

    • The Collection: Entre Rêve et Regard
As the first notes of the music echoed through the prestigious room, the show started. One by one, the silhouettes emerged, showed up, determined and structured, intricately bold.

Tony Ward’s signature architectural codes were fused with voluminous and rich Baroque references and an innovative mix of techniques. Handmade crochet embroidery, devoré fabrics, daring cut-outs, and dimensional layering adding a ‘mystery’ depth to every look.

Each piece carried the weight of hours of craftsmanship…with more than 700 hours to create in the Tony Ward Ateliers.

      A Study of Contrasts
The runway was a performance of contrasts. Delicate, sheer fabrics met sharp tailoring. Soft blush tones and icy silvers collided beautifully with deep crimsons and molten metallics.

Layers of silk jacquard and velvet created a balance between structure and movement.

Every step revealed another form of the intricate evening gowns, each one telling its own story of rebellion, strength, and allure.

    • Beauty Details: Sculpted Faces and Bold Statements
The hair and make-up is as important to Tony as the gowns, and it played a powerful role in the show’s mood. Models walked the runway with luminous, almost ethereal skin, highlighted cheekbones and warm, smoky eyes framed by burnished copper tones.

The makeup mirrored the collection’s contrasts: soft, glowing complexions paired with intense, magnetic gazes. Hair looks varied between sleek, sculpted ponytails and wet-look finishes, enhancing the dramatic lines of the steel masks and bold silhouettes.

      Highlights That Stole the Spotlight
Highlights included a striking gown with cascading layers of embroidered tulle, worn with a dramatic cape that floated behind every step.

Another showstopper shimmered in gold and bronze tones, its metallic embroidery catching the runway lights with every movement.

Everywhere you looked, details translated hidden stories and more, from bold cut-outs to beaded motifs.
