In Tony Ward’s Fall-Winter 2025/26 Couture collection, the runway wasn’t a catwalk. Gowns moved. They swirled and flowed Entre Rêve et Regard.
The collection danced between illusion and presence. But what stood out, beyond the sculpted silhouettes and intense embroidery, was how each gown was in motion. These weren’t just pieces. They were performances.
There were standout pieces that turned movement into a statement, and expressive drama into not-so-subtle design.
Painted by Pearls
A take on classic couture codes. Designed with a sense of lightness, this piece is hand-crafted with multidirectional pearl lines, a twist on symmetry that added depth and texture with every step.
The corset was deliberately asymmetrical, curving away from the center to give the illusion of a two-piece silhouette. The skirt, tightly fitted, was drenched in Charleston-style pearl embroidery, cascading in movement.
The splash of oversized pearls brushing across the skirt is like a painter’s final stroke. Every inch of this dress played with dimension. It wasn’t just about the shimmers; it was about rhythm.
The way the pearls caught light as the model walked created a visual beat, a musical effect.
