We are ready to wrap up 2022, a milestone year for Tony Ward,
celebrating achievements and overcoming new challenges. We glance back at some
of the memorable moments that marked our 2022, starting with a double
Anniversary; 25 years of the Tony Ward brand and 70 years since the Ward
Atelier was established. "When I look back at my journey, I don’t only recall
the success as I always make sure to also remember the tough times and
stumbling blocks that shaped the brand. It has been an amazing 25 years and I’m
looking forward to the ones to come.”
Double
Anniversary
This year we celebrated a double milestone. The 25thanniversary of the Tony Ward label and the 70th anniversary of the
Ward Atelier established by his father Elie Ward. The house celebrated
craftsmanship, fashion and heritage with an immersive exhibit retracing the
history of Ward’s atelier into the present; Elie Ward’s legacy, elaborate
fabrics, couture sewing techniques, extraordinary creations and the muses that
inspired them. The movie ‘Tony Ward Couture, The Legacy’ was revealed during
the launch event at our headquarters in Beirut.

A Tribute
to Elie Ward
It is with a heavy heart that Tony Ward Fashion House announced
the passing of Elie Ward, on October 24th. Elie Ward established the
Ward Ateliers in 1952. He was a pioneer of Lebanese Couture, paving the way for
designers emerging from the country today. Elie’s creations were a must for
high society women. Famous for his tailored suits, known to last a lifetime, he
was still handling the suits manufacturing until a few years ago. His savoir
fair is, and will always be alive in the Ateliers.
