With each collection, Tony designs his pieces while imagining the whole look from the eye sight to the heels; it has to blend with the inspiration and has to fall harmoniously with the dresses

For ‘Nymphs Rebirth’, the Tony Ward Couture Fall Winter 2024/25 Fashion Show is all about translating the divine beauty of the Nymphs and their fantasy dreamland through the hair style and the make-up traits. To turn the mythical gorgeousness into reality.. to make it real and raw.

But how could you exceed this heavenly aspects?

The Nymphs need to come alive, the audience need to feel their presence among them, to feel these walking souls floating on the runway in the Couture pieces.

After many research, mood-boards, endless trials: A sleek romantic braided hairstyle mixed with a glow skin and shimmery metallic eyes.

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE HAIRSTYLE FOR THE GREEK MYTHOLOGY: THE NOT-SO-EFFORTLESS LOOK

Braids for the hair, but not the edgy thick ones, it has to blend and intertwine to meet a ‘romantic’ sleek bun, while making it as close to an oak wreath and as real as a laurel. It has to be powerful, just like the nature’s elements and close to the Greek Goddess.

All while creating a space so that the headpiece could fall harmoniously… and stand out.

Beppe D’Ellia, the hairstylist of the house for many years, created that blend perfectly and made it as majestic as it could be. A relaxed, effortless three-African braids tied together to form a twist, placed at the occipital level.
