    • We sat with Jessy and asked her atypical questions about wedding planning, and even though we knew that she has a unique touch, her answers went beyond that…

What are the 2024 wedding trends and how do you take into consideration the trend while reflecting the personality of the couple you are working with so that each wedding looks different, all while keeping Strawberries & Champagne’s signature?

I don’t focus on trends, I never did. My team and I focus on the couple and the space we are working at, then integrate them into an experience.

Before working on any design, we inspect the venue and then the design has to fit it and blend with it, but the most important thing is that it has to resemble the couple’s characteristics and vibe.

Ahead of kicking off any wedding planning, we prepare a questionnaire to the couple in order to get to know their taste and style, what they like, what they don’t like, their vision, the age group of the guests…

However, Candles and fairy lights will always be on trend and we love to focus on them while mixing them with fabrics, a mix of different materials and patterns. Having said that, it is not only about the aesthetics for us, but more the experience throughout the whole event.

Do you take the bride’s dress into consideration while creating the whole wedding/design especially when the bride has a special character or style?
Does her dress influence your vision?

It is actually the other way around, the bride’s character and style will influence everything from the design of her wedding to her gown. And most of the time the bride waits for us to finish the plan so she could choose her wedding dress accordingly.

What are the wedding planning ‘rules’ that you would let go and what are the ones that you would never let go?

There are no rules. We plan the wedding any way the couples would like it to be, as playful or classic, as formal or informal…but the important thing is to reflect their character in every single element.

The only things we will never compromise on are high standards and quality, a smooth flow of the wedding, and the refined details that falls under our DNA.
