Crystalline Prose
For his Bridal 2018 collection, Tony
Ward’s source of inspiration was Crystalline Prose, a unique and complex
approach to literature in which every word is well thought of, yet the prose
seems to flow effortlessly. The words shine with life, painting a beautiful
imagery in a reader’s mind.
Inspired by this philosophy, Tony Ward designs dresses with
intricate craftsmanship, and carefully selects fabrics and detailing, in a
light and timeless manner.
He plays with the boundaries of light and transparency to
create "Crystalline” dresses made of gauzy materials such as lace, silk organza
and tulle; delicately embellished with crystals, silk thread and sequins
embroideries.
The collection is composed of fitted silhouette dresses with
flowers and leaves detailing, as well as grand A-line wedding gowns with subtle
beading and material work.
Through flawless volumes and meticulous detailing, the gowns
unveil the femininity of a Tony Ward Bride who stands out as an amateur of new
sensations.
