Winter Bloom
Imagine being in the coldest place on Earth. Conjure up the heavy
snow, abundantly and continuously falling all around you. Can you hear the wind
blowing? Can you see the temperature dropping? Can you behold the magnificent
beauty of winter? Can you interpret the poetry encoded in the snowflakes? Can
you feel the crack of delicate ice?
To design his newest Ready-to-Wear collection for the
Fall-Winter2017/18 season, Tony Ward rediscovers the beautiful lightness
and fluffiness of fluttering snowflakes. He revives the intricate and
captivating patterns of snow crystals, re-imagines the mysterious shapes of
cracked ice and replicates them in his designs.
The cold winter nights are reflected in
this collection through the mesmerizing use of velvet, lace and embroidered
tulle, crystalized flowers embroideries, unique ice cracks patterns and
crystals embellishments.
This winter 2017/18, Tony Ward invites us to the fascinating world
of ice and snow that offers such a unique and compelling atmosphere. The
collection named Winter Bloom, presentedlast March during
Paris Fashion Week, will be available this fall at all Tony Ward
resellers around the world!
