Tony Ward Designs Light Up the Joy Awards Red Carpet

The 2025 Joy Awards, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was all about the celebrated achievements in entertainment, while honoring the region’s top talents across music, film, and television.

The opening ceremony set the stage for a ‘chic’ night, with celebrities dazzling the red carpet in breathtaking craftsmanship.

We are happy and proud to have dressed iconic women in Tony Ward creations, showcasing the house’s artistry and modern sophistication.

Tony Ward, known for his meticulous savoir-faire and architectural detailing, presented designs from two collections: the Spring Summer 2024 Couture collection, The Golden Ratio, and the Fall Winter 2024/25 Ready-to-Wear collection, Safari Sunset.

Each gown was tailored to the personality of the star, making it a powerful statement on the red carpet.

Lebanese actress Maguy Bou Ghosn stunned in a royal blue gown from the Golden Ratio collection. The asymmetrical bodice featured intersecting embroidered patterns in darker tones, creating a striking visual effect. The fitted silhouette flowed into a sheer muslin cape, adding movement and drama to her appearance.

Egyptian actress Nelly Karim opted for a bold A-line tulle gown in deep red, also from the Golden Ratio collection. The gown’s boat neckline and delicate embellishments, which cascaded from the bust down to the skirt, highlighted Tony Ward’s attention to detail. The flowing silhouette combined with the rich red hue made Karim’s ensemble one of the evening’s most memorable moments.

    • Algerian actress Amel Bouchoucha chose a sophisticated white crepe gown that stood out for its intricate details. The design featured a shimmering beaded high neckline that extended into a fully embellished sleeve on one side, contrasted by soft draping that emphasized the silhouette. A dramatic train completed the look, offering a timeless elegance that resonated with the spirit of the event.

Adding to the lineup of stunning appearances was Lebanese influencer Farah Abdel Aziz, dressed in a striking piece from the Safari Sunset collection. The white crepe gown showcased asymmetrical draping, creating a cape-like sleeve on one side, while the bodice was adorned with cascading gold embroidery. The long train added a sense of grandeur, making her look one of the most talked-about of the night.

Each one of these celebrities represented the house’s DNA in her own unique, and beautiful way – making her stand out from the crowd.

The 2025 Joy Awards wasn’t just a celebration of entertainment; it also became a stage and a testament of fashion blended into the world of cinema and music.

With Tony Ward’s creations gracing the red carpet, the event highlighted the power of design to elevate storytelling, leaving an unforgettable mark on this year’s awards season.
