Paris Fashion Show Couture Fall Winter 2016/17

<p style="font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:medium;">The Fall Winter 2016/17 fashion show was held at the Mairie du 4eme in Paris on July 4th. The designer presented "Envol&rdquo;, a Couture collection inspired by the wild beauty of a majestic, imperial bird. The models walked along a sleek laminated black runway, at the center of a historic hall distinguished by its carved wood walls and marvelous painted ceiling.<br /></p><p style="font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:medium;">Opulence and delicacy are key in this collection rich in contrasts where, just like in a feather, supple and rigid volumes harmoniously coexist. Skirts with meticulously crafted, volatile embroidery interact with more dramatic and dense materials.</p><p style="font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:medium;">Tony Ward offers us a Winter season rich in structural forms nuanced by an intriguing mix of material work.</p>
