Sometimes</span><span style="line-height:18.4px;"> abstract and sometimes closer to reality, her work is very detail-oriented. The paintings are often pure black and white, occasionally mixed with unexpected touches of colours.</span></p><p style="font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:medium;"><span style="line-height:18.4px;">As for Nayla Kai Saroufim’s fascinating installations, it is the story of a </span><span lang="EN" style="line-height:18.4px;">playful invasion of her characters in Tony Ward’s showroom. Brought to life under Nayla’s touch, they appear in expected and unexpected places all over the showroom starting with the vitrine and through three floors, disrupting the usual routine of the Tony Ward building.</span></p><p style="font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:medium;">Architects, interior designers, gallery owners along with the Tony Ward VIP clients and the media all gathered to discover the showcased artworks and witness this one-of-a-kind collaboration between Fashion & Art.</p><p style="font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:medium;text-align:center;line-height:normal;"><span style="font-weight:bold;">ABOUT THE ARTISTS</span></p><p style="font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:medium;line-height:normal;"><span style="font-weight:bold;">Nayla Kai Saroufim</span></p><p style="font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:medium;line-height:normal;">Born in 1982, Nayla Kai Saroufim is a Lebanese art director and illustrator. An ALBA (<span lang="FR">Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts</span>) graduate, she worked at multinational advertising agencies before focusing on her art. In her work realism meets abstraction and pop art; installations make a statement in wood, steel, copper, and mirrors; and colors enter a dialogue with different formats and techniques.</p><p style="font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:medium;line-height:normal;"><span style="text-align:justify;font-weight:bold;">Nada Matta</span></p><p style="font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:medium;line-height:normal;"><span style="text-align:justify;">Born in 1968, Nada Matta is a Lebanese painter, illustrator and writer. She studied at </span><span lang="FR" style="text-align:justify;">ATEP (Arts et Techniques d’Environnement Publicitaire) in Paris</span><span style="text-align:justify;"> and later on exhibited several times her Art at the Metz in France as part of the "Parcours d’Artistes”. </span><span style="text-align:justify;">Nada Matta’s paintings are very poetic and at the same time asserted and unrestricted in their message. </span></p>
