Reflecting back to our Almaty Fashion Days SAUVAGE, we definitely forecast Almaty to become the fashion capital of central Asia.
The Fashion days was an event that took place on the 22nd of November 2018 for three full days of shows in Almaty Kazakhstan. Liliya Rakh, the owner of the SAUVAGE group and voted one of the most influential women in fashion by Business of Fashion, was the woman behind it all.
Tony Ward, Ralph and Russo, Malone Souliers, Akris, Rubeus, and many more were invited to showcase their collections alongside the SAUVAGE multi-brand boutique. Guests included the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Russia, Masha Fedorova, Kseniya Sobchak, a very famous journalist and representatives from L’Officiel, Harpers Bazaar, Buro, and BLVD Magazine.
While Ralph and Russo show opened up the fashion days, Tony Ward show opened up the closing day with a mix of Couture FW18/19 and Ready-to-Wear SS19 pieces. The looks were complemented with statement headpieces beautifully designed by Yana Markova who attended the show as well. It was beautiful to see his most special looks all cultivated into one show.
